Long

Pamela Jaeger is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University in 1999 and has been licensed since 2005. She has over two decades of professional experience in mental health, working in a wide range of settings including community-based agencies, schools, residential programs, clinics, hospitals, and private practice. During her career, she also served as a clinical supervisor for emerging therapists for about ten years. In 2017, Jaeger stepped away from full-time clinical work due to a severe health issue that left her on disability for several years. When she returned to practice in 2021, she described finding the mental health field radically changed, particularly in its approach to gender identity issues among youth. When they fired her for not complying with the COVID vaccine mandate, she decided to become outspoken about the problems she observed in her profession. Pamela Jaeger is known for her focus on parent empowerment, clinical integrity, and critical examination of contemporary mental health practices, especially regarding therapy with children and adolescents. A central theme in her work is advocating for holistic, individualized treatment rather than what she views as blanket affirmation strategies. She has also testified in several states in favor of parental rights. Pamela emphasizes the importance of exploring underlying causes of distress, equipping parents with knowledge about the mental health system, and avoiding approaches she sees as ideological rather than therapeutic. Pamela Garfield-Jaeger has authored two books: A Practical Response to Gender Distress: Tips and Tools for Families, a book aimed at helping families navigate questions around gender identity in children and teens, available on Amazon a.co/d/5KIhI3J Froggy Girl, a children's book that tells a story about self-acceptance and appreciating one's identity, intended in part to counter narratives she views as confusing for young kids. www.froggygirlbook.com In addition, Pamela has appeared in three major documentaries about the harms of gender ideology, is a writing contributor for national outlets such as Human Events, The Epoch Times, The Federalist and The Daily Wire, maintains an active Substack column under the name Pamthetruthfultherapist, and developed continuing education courses for other therapists who do not want to affirm false gender identities. She has testified for parental rights and child protection bills in California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, and Delaware. Finally, Pamela is featured in interviews for major media outlets such as Fox, Daily Signal, Epoch Times, PragerU, Outkick, The Christian Post, and many more.
