We collect as little as we need, we tell you what we do with it, and we delete it when you ask.

What we collect.

When you use this site, we may collect:

  • Email address when you subscribe to the newsletter, request the free guide, or contact the office.
  • Name and message when you fill out the contact form or a booking request.
  • Order information (handled by our payment processor) when you purchase a course or consultation.
  • Basic technical information (browser, device type, referring page, approximate region) for analytics and security.

What we use it for.

  • To send the emails and materials you asked us to send.
  • To respond to your messages.
  • To fulfill orders and provide the services you purchased.
  • To improve the site and understand which essays are useful.
  • To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

We never sell your data. We never rent your email list to anyone.

Who has access.

Information is handled by Pamela and a small number of contractors (e.g. a virtual assistant, our email service provider, our payment processor, our hosting provider) who help operate the site. They are bound to use information only to provide their service.

Cookies and analytics.

We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and see which pages help readers. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Your choices.

  • You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
  • You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time.
  • You can ask for a copy of what we have stored about you.

Children.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy.

We update this page when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced to newsletter subscribers.
