Last updated June 25, 2026

By using this site or any of our paid services, you agree to the terms below. Please read them. They exist to keep all of us safe.

Who we are.

This website is published by Pamela Garfield-Jaeger, LCSW, doing business as The Truthful Therapist. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the practice and its small operating team.

Educational use.

All content on this site is published for general educational purposes and is not professional advice. See our clinical disclaimer for the full statement. You agree not to rely on anything here as a substitute for evaluation by a qualified clinician who knows you.

Account and orders.

When you purchase a course or consultation, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials private. Course access is for the person who purchased it. Sharing logins, or redistributing course materials, is not permitted.

Refunds.

Digital products and consultations are non-refundable once delivered or attended. If you experience a technical problem that prevents access to a product you purchased, write to us within 14 days and we will make it right.

Acceptable use.

You agree not to:

  • Use the site to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
  • Republish, resell, or scrape our content without written permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the site.

Intellectual property.

All essays, guides, course materials, audio, and design elements are the original work of Pamela Garfield-Jaeger and her collaborators. You may quote short passages with attribution. For longer reuse, please write for permission.

Third-party services.

We use trusted third parties to process payments, send emails, and host courses. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

No warranties; limitation of liability.

The site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its materials.

Termination and suspension.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the site, courses, or any account at any time if you violate these terms, misuse the site, or engage in conduct that harms the practice, other users, or the integrity of the services. You may stop using the site at any time.
